Demolition Begins At Durwood Soccer Stadium & Recreational Field

The construction of the Durwood Soccer Stadium and Recreational Field is underway on the campus of UMKC. The Weitz Company began its efforts in late December to demolish the old remnants of the Swinney Recreation Center Track & Field Complex.

The Kangaroos head to Indianapolis, Ind., for a Summit League battle against IUPUI. UMKC will take on the Jaguars on Mon., Jan. 5 at 6:00 p.m. UMKC is 6-8 overall and 1-2 in league play, coming off of a 61-57 loss to Western Illinois on Saturday night.
